It wasn't a big hoopla of celebration, but just the right kind for me. We had a late lunch at my parents house saturday to appreciate my momma. We had homemade clam chowder (yum!) and sandwiches. It was very nice. Josh had worked super late (friday night/saturday morning), so he wasn't able to join us on account of I not being able to wake him, but we went out for a while when he got up. We decided to go and do some grocery shopping in the States. Always a good time.
Sunday morning I slept in, had breakfast delivered to me, snuggled with my boys, received flowers and a really pretty watch.
It was very nice and simple. Then we headed to Ikea for some future home planning, picked out some kids storage units we really liked and will go back for closer to our move date. Planning out our new place really is too much fun, especially when everything Ikea has is something I want in my house!
We loved to dream, and on that vein we went to a few dealerships and checked out cars we'd love to buy brand new if we won the lottery or suddenly came into money. I'd love to upgrade our minivan to a Dodge Journey, and Josh really likes the look of the Dodge Avenger. *Sigh* Someday.
It's supposed to be a gorgeous week here, and I plan to spend the majority outside! Yay for great weather!
Have a great week!
