1. That we've had the opportunity to slowly chip away at our "moving" list. I've been able to touch up most of our walls, and get some furniture we don't want/need anymore out of the way. I'm going to go through the toys today and put aside stuff to donate, and take a big load in later this week.
2. Thankful that we have been so blessed that we CAN donate. I don't feel like I need/want to sell most of our stuff, because we've been so blessed to have been able to afford it or have it gifted to us. The Lord has been so consistent in providing for our needs and I am so thankful we can give some of that back.
3. That we don't get seasonal allergies. I only remember a handful of times having allergy symptoms, and neither of the boys have showed any signs they'll have seasonal allergies, so far. Josh is almost always as healthy as a horse, so I don't often have to worry about him. :) I know a lot of our friends suffer from pollen allergies, and I see how awful it can be.
4. Josh's new work schedule. He doesn't work as many graveyard shifts anymore, which is fabulous because we get to see more of him throughout the day, and he gets to get a better rest on the days he only works 6 hours. I was skeptical when he first told me about it, but having just done his first "set" of the schedule, it's really working out better for the whole family.
5. Coffee. I stopped drinking coffee briefly a few months ago, and while I felt really accomplished and happy about "kicking the habit", and also missed it horribly. Coffee is just so delicious, and I think I'm a happier person once my first cup has been drank.
6. New opportunities on our horizon. I think we're the type of people who like change, and I'm excited for a change in almost a month!
7. Aloe Vera Lotion and Coconut oil. I got my self pretty burnt over the weekend, and there ain't nothing like Aloe and Coconut Oil to sooth that pain! And it sort of healed into a very slight tan! Woohoo! (It's hard for pale kids like me to tan, as we reflect the sun, lol).
8. I ate peppers this week and didn't get sick! That's a mighty accomplishment! My stomach is a
9. Playdates. They just break the week up really nicely. I like having something to look forward to.
10. My parents who ask to take my big boy for 4 sleeps. (For the record, I don't very often have to ask them to take my children, they offer and they love it. And when they do, I can't deny I don't enjoy the break.) Thanks Mom and Dad!
